Agility is a
sport that is loosely-based on horse jumping. It began in the 1970's as
an addition to horse shows to entertain the crowds while waiting for the
rings to be re-set.
The object of agility is to guide your dog through an obstacle course of agility equipment, which includes jumps, tunnels, see-saw and A-frames, to name a just a few.
The sport has been growing rapidly in popularity in the past decade with agility trials being run almost every weekend. It is a great way to have fun with your dog, as well as get some exercise and fresh air.
